Lauren has been a freelance writer and editor for more than 12 years. She has served both local and national accounts including Apple, Good Eats Restaurants, Institute for Interesting People, J/R/S Advertising, The Loomis Agency, Park Place Dealerships, SocketNet NYC, Taylor Publishing, Think New Ideas Seattle and TXI.
Prior to her freelancing career, Lauren served as associate editor for The Electricity Journal, the leading policy journal for the U.S. electric power industry. Before that, she worked as editor/copyeditor for Hadeler Sullivan & Law, a $70 million full-service ad agency, where she edited all print, radio, Web site and television advertising materials for clients such as Subway, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, American Suzuki, Tony Romas, and Dell Computers, among others. She also served as editor for agency client GTE’s Community Access magazine.
Lauren is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in journalism, and she is the very proud mama of 11-year-old son Beck (named after Dallas physician Beck Weathers for his inner strength, resolve and Texas tenacity!). |
